Today, 27th March, some of our Year 5 pupils went along to the Bridge Centre with Mrs Whitmore, our RE leader, to participate in an RE conference, along with several other schools. The children developed questions about God and the world which cannot be answered by searching the internet. They wrote five questions including ‘Why they are proud to be British?’, made wristbands to show what they’re committed to in their lives, rated scenarios of respectful, tolerant or disrespectful, created a Union Jack which conveyed why and how they’re proud to be British and what makes them unique. They also created a globe which signified how they are going to make the world a better place and why they are proud to be a human in our world. Finally, they used pictures of guns and grenades and turned them into something positive.

They had such a busy day and represented Eaton Park fantastically!
